I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I even got to see white-faced monkeys right from my villa. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, providing the best customer service I've ever experienced. They were accommodating to my vegan diet and the chef went above and beyond to make sure I had delicious meals. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with nearby dining options and an animal sanctuary right next door. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. this was the best hotel I stayed at during my time in Costa Rica.
Nothing bad to say.

The view from our suite was absolutely breathtaking, with a 180-degree panorama of the entire coast. We could even see toucans in the morning from our private balcony with a hammock and comfortable chairs. The staff was exceptional, providing kind and helpful service throughout our stay. Additionally, the animal sanctuary on-site offered a unique opportunity to see and learn about various rescued species.
Limited menu options for my husband, as the hotel mainly served fish and vegetarian dishes.

We had an incredible stay at Villas Alturas for 5 nights. The view from our room was like waking up in a personal jungle paradise, with breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by lush jungle and wildlife sounds. The location was easily accessible from San Jose with good roads. Room 3 had the very best view, and the pool area on top was picturesque.
